Gulmaria Price List gulet yacht All frames are laminated mahogany. Stringers are 3 layers and laminated mahogany. Fastening of stringers to frames are provided by 18mm hot galvanized bolts. Beam shelves and beam clamp are mahogany laminated with epoxy.

 

Hull planking are 30mm strip plank+ 3x8mm diogonal veneering. Material is mahogany wood. For adhesive bonding; stapler and epoxy resin are used.Top coat is provided by 2x300gr/m2 glass cloth.Stapler material is stainless steel. Deck beams are also laminated mahogany. Main deck is constructed with iroko wood Sikaflex deck caulking system.

 

Watertight bulkheads are constructed with 10mm marine plywood+50x50mm pine framework+50mm rockwool+10mm marine plywood. In engine room iner sides of bulkheads have 30mm sound insulation.

Amorgos Island At Turkey

Famous for its dramatic mountain scenery and a relaxed atmosphere , it was one of the earliest centers of formation of the Cycladic civilization , and now attracts a huge number of tourists, especially the French, because it was filmed here a cult film by Luc Besson “” Le Grand Bleu “”.

The main port of the island – Katapola – lies deep narrow bay , looks like a fjord , and actually consists of three separate villages – Katapola on the south side , Ksilokeratidion (Xylokeratidhion, Xylokeratidhi) on the north shore and Rahidion (Rahidhion, Rahidhi) on the hillside adjacent to the bay on the south- east of the central mountain range.

The main attraction of the village Katapola , the main port of the island – the Church of the Virgin ( Panagia Katapolyani ) , built on the site of an ancient temple of Apollo. Here are the ruins of the ancient city of Minoa . Swimmers can enjoy relaxing on the pristine sandy beaches of the area.

The second most important port of the island , a picturesque village Aegiali , also famous for its beautiful sandy beaches. It was formed by the merger of four villages, consisting entirely of white houses ( Tolar , Potamos , Ormos and Langada ) . Composed of four towers it stood against Alexander the Great and his Macedonian troops. Surviving portions of the city wall are under restoration. Ottoman Tower Built about 1794 to protect an Ottoman naval shipyard from pirate raids the tower has undergone recent restoration during which remains of Roman baths were found.

HISTORY OF BODRUM

The first recorded settlers in Bodrum region were the Carians and the harbor area was colonized by Dorian Greeks as of the 7th century BC. The city later fell under Persian rule. Under the Persians, it was the capital city of the satrapy of Caria, the region that had since long constituted its hinterland and of which it was the principal port. Its strategic location ensured that the city enjoyed considerable autonomy. Archaeological evidence from the period such as the recently discovered Salmakis (Kaplankalesi) Inscription, now in Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology, attest to the particular pride[clarification needed] its inhabitants had developed.[4] A famous native was Herodotus, the Greek historian (484-420 BC). Surviving substructures and ruins of the Mausoleum of Mausolus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, in Halicarnassus (modern Bodrum.) Mausolus ruled Caria from here, nominally on behalf of the Persians and independent in practical terms for much of his reign between 377 to 353 BC. When he died in 353 BC, Artemisia II of Caria, who was both his sister and his widow, employed the ancient Greek architects Satyros and Pythis, and the four sculptors Bryaxis, Scopas, Leochares and Timotheus to build a monument, as well as a tomb, for him. The word “mausoleum” derives from the structure of this tomb. It was a temple-like structure decorated with reliefs and statuary on a massive base. It stood for 1700 years and was finally destroyed by earthquakes. Today only the foundations and a few pieces of sculpture remain.
